Pastor Karen Olson and family
Pastor Karen is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and Luther Theological Seminary. She has worked as an editor for Augsburg-Fortress Publishing House, and has served as a parish pastor in Minnesota (Grace Lutheran, Dawson); Spokane (Christ Lutheran and St.Luke Lutheran);and Chewelah,Washington (St. Paul Lutheran). She began ministry at Lutheran Church of the Master in January of 2006.
Pr. Karen enjoys all aspects of parish ministry, but is particularly interested in worship, congregational song, youth and family ministry, and outreach. She is also a clasically trained soprano, and enjoys music of all kinds.
She and her husband, Kevin, a math instructor at North Idaho College, have two daughters, Amy Carol and Katie Ann.
